The Royals, a girls traveling basketball team consisting of 7th and 8th graders from the 6 regional towns will be traveling to Cape Cod March 26-28 for a basketball tournament. Needless to say, there is fund raising to do!!
Tony Hernandez, owner of the Villager Restaurant in Kent has graciously offered to open the doors to the restaurant for one night only, so the girls can earn money for that tournament. The Royals players will be the waitresses for the evening. The tips they earn along with any donations will go directly toward their tournament fund. This is a huge opportunity because it is in fact the girls that are earning the money for their trip!
The date is Saturday, February 27, 5:00pm-9:00pm with 2 seatings at 5:30 and 7:30. Reservations are encouraged by calling 860 927-1555. Dinner price is $23.95 per person consisting of a house salad, choice of 4 fabulous mexican entrees and a homemade dessert choice of warm apple crisp with whipped cream or Baileys Tres Leches cake. Coffee, Tea or soda. Anyone can view the complete menu selection by going to http://villagerkent.com/menus
Please spread the word, mark your calendars and come to the Villager for great food, as well as, great service by an enthusiastic basketball player!
